The Great War

Information about the war

In the first world war 20 million people were hurt, and 17 million died. The war started 28th of july 1914 and ended at 11:00 o’clock 11th November and the 11th month in the year. It lasted 4 years.                                                                 

The war was also called: The war to end all wars and the Great War. 20 years later World War Two came, so it wasn’t peace that long before World War Two came.
