The Triple Entente was France, England and Russia. They won the war. In 1917 there was a revolution in Russia. The people were starving and seeked help from the tsar (king). The tsar was too worried about his son that he didn’t care. The people did not like that and killed the whole king's family. Russia was out of the war. This was good news for Germany. Then the U.S.A came into the war. Because the Germans bombed a boat with many Americans in it, and then send a letter to Mexico that they should attack the USA. Then USA found it, and joined the war. That was not so good for Germany.
