Young boys at war

Young boys at war was a pretty normal thing, because they wanted to become famous and be that guy that survived the war. The youngest kids that tried to sneak into the war was only 14 years old, but most were 16 and 17 years old.

They thought war was a cool thing but it wasn’t!

World War One was the first war with machine guns. The wars before World War One were swords normal to use and to sit on horses, when you were fighting, so they probably thought it was like that but NO it wasn’t. World War One changed how people see wars. A long time ago it was “cool” to be in a war but now it’s terrible.
